Unit I - Review of Computer Guidelines

          In this lesson, I've learned so many things in using the computer like , we must limit ourselves in using it because  it can  cause so many problems in our health. In using the internet in a public computer shop , we must not save or log on important information like bank codes or credit card numbers because it’s for our own safety and security.

         We must not leave the computer unattended because someone might commit fraud using our credentials. We must protect our computer from different kinds of viruses; so we must put a firewall or anti-virus because there are viruses that could invade our computer in just a minute by inserting a USB that has a virus. So we must all be careful in what we insert to our computers. These are just some lessons that I've learned and there is so much more to consider like proper posture, protecting our eyes and hygienic routines.

      We also discussed NETIQUETTE. It refers to etiquette in electronic communication (the net). Of course , it has its own importance . First, setting netiquette guidelines helps support a positive learning environment . Second , netiquette guidelines can also help to facilitate polite and professional interactions between students and faculty and students with each other . And it can help students that are lack in knowledge about what constitutes acceptable and non-acceptable standards for online communication..

            As I've said above, proper netiquette is a must. So when you don't do the proper netiquette, something will happen like CYBER BULLYING. So here are some tips how to avoid cyber bullying:

1. Never provide pertinent information 
2. Don´t be gullible
3. Don´t respond to an angry message with anger
4. Never open messages from strangers
5. Don´t forward chain mails, hoaxes or long emails
